All of us at Bay Imaging Consultants want to extend our gratitude and appreciation to each of those hard-working radiology technicians out there. In order to celebrate our favorite week, we want to shine a spotlight on one of our dedicated and ambitious rad techs, Brain Krome.

How long have you been with BMML?
It will be 10 years in September.
What did you do prior to working for BMML?
Before going to MRI school, I was a Customer Service Director for United Airlines at SFO.
How did you transition from Customer Service to MRI Tech?
I actually strained my back on the job and was sent for an MRI to make sure it was nothing more serious. I was fascinated by the whole experience and the tech that did my scan was great and gave me the names of a few schools as well as a mini crash course in MRI.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
I really like the people, both patients, and co-workers.
What are your hobbies?
Travel, Cooking, Hiking.
What is something other employees don’t know about you?
I can sing karaoke in Cantonese and I have visited 6 of the 7 continents, not Antarctica.
If you could invent anything what would it be?
A pain eliminating device.
