Bay Medical Management, LLC, CEO, Lisa Woelfel Elected to RBMA Board of Directors
We’re thrilled to share exciting news: Lisa Woelfel, MBA, the CEO for Bay Medical Management, LLC, the MSO for Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group, Inc, has been elected Treasurer of the board of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) for the 2026–2027 term. The announcement was made on April 14 at RBMA’s annual “PaRADigm” meeting in ChampionsGate, Florida.
As Treasurer, Lisa joins the RBMA’s executive committee — the leadership core guiding one of the nation’s premier professional associations for radiology business management. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, the RBMA has long served as the essential community for radiology administrators, practice managers, and executives dedicated to advancing the profession.
This recognition reflects Lisa’s deep expertise in radiology business management and her longstanding commitment to the field. Election to the RBMA board is a peer-driven honor, with members voting annually from among their colleagues — making this appointment a meaningful testament to the respect Lisa has earned across the radiology business community.
RBMA Co-Executive Director Jessica Struve captured the spirit of the new board well: “Our board represents the strength of our community, and these are thoughtful leaders who are deeply committed to advancing the radiology business profession. They bring a strong mix of experience, fresh perspective, and a shared commitment to moving radiology forward.”
Lisa joins an accomplished incoming executive committee. Stacy Sanso, director of patient access for ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, takes over as board president, with Schaeffer Smith, MPH, CEO of Comprehensive Radiology Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, stepping into the president-elect role. Danny de la Torre, MBA, CEO of Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center in Dallas, joins the committee as secretary and parliamentarian.
Please join us in congratulating Lisa on this well-deserved honor. We look forward to the impact she will bring to the RBMA and the broader radiology business community in the year ahead.
