Get to know Mohammed Hayat, M.D.
Dr. Hayat was born in Albany, NY, but moved to the Midwest, which is where he ultimately grew up. He completed both his Undergraduate and Master’s degrees at UW- Madison, followed by medical school at the University of Illinois. Dr. Hayat has always loved the intersection of technology and clinical problem-solving, which Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology both uniquely offer as such a mentally/physically rewarding profession. On a uniquely difference side, Dr. Hayat has always valued the lessons of history and the discipline of the military. Military history has been one of Dr. Hayat’s favorite topics since childhood, and once he considered entering the profession as an officer. Outside of military history, Dr. Hayat losing track of time reading up on astronomy and astrophysics, which he has found to be incredibly grounding in his perspective of life.
